Ways of Giving
All contributions to The Hnatyshyn Foundation are tax-deductible.
Donations can be made online via CanadaHelps (see links below) or by cheque: The Hnatyshyn Foundation, 210 - 150 Isabella Street, Ottawa, ON, K1S 0C7.
Jaeden Izik-Dzurko, laureate of Ukraine - Heritage, Spirit and Future (2022)
Your contribution will help emerging musicians, singers, dancers, actors, visual artists and curators get professional-level training, or provide the resources for artists and curators in mid-career to hone their skills or create new works of art. Over the years, The Hnatyshyn Foundation has supported many emerging artists who have since made their mark on Canadian art, both locally and internationally. Who knows who will be next?
Olena Saltykova, laureate of Ukraine - Heritage, Spirit and Future (2022)
A donation of securities (stocks, bonds, ETFs and mutual funds) is the most efficient way to give charitably. Since capital gains taxes don't apply, The Hnatyshyn Foundation receives the full fair market value when the security is sold, and you get a tax receipt which reflects your larger contribution. This allows you to give more and get more!
Planned gifts, legacy gifts and endowments allow us to ensure the longevity of our programs and will benefit Canadian artists for many years to come. Planned gifts may be put toward a specific program of your choosing, similar to our William and Meredith Saunderson Prizes.
To discuss planned giving and legacy giving with our team, please contact Marianne Brown at director@rjhf.com.
